Hi. I've been reading more and more on remote viewing recently. The Holographic Universe, The Field and now Russel Targ's book on the subject.

A couple of days ago, I was taking a nap that I sort of woke up from but was just laying there sleepy like. Mind you, I'd not attempted any remote viewing at this point... but sort of on a lark, while I was laying there halfway dozing, I decided to try and RV my friend's grandmothers where she was at for a family get together.

As soon as I "tried" I (for lack of a better word) "slammed" into a very vivid audio experience. It felt like the sudden relaxation and feeling of physically dropping downward that I've felt on a few occasions where I've been put into a deep hypnotic trance.

I did not expereience anything visual. It was all audio. It was jumbled up... one layer was a group of people talking. Enough though that I couldn't make out any single conversation.

the next layer was what sounded like a conversation over radio, like over a walkie talkie or hand radio where something technical was being discussed.

The third layer was of a female singing. It had a similar quality to the above, but more like listening to a radio station.

To say the least, the experience was sudden and shocking. I stayed with it until I became concerned that if it hit me so hard, it might affect my friend even harder. (We have had a number of experiences where I establish something of an empathic connection... and it often causes her to become very dizzy.) So, not realizing at the time that I wasn't necissarly "connecting" to her per se, I retreated (with a fair amount of difficulty) as fast as I could. [Later she did tell me that at one point in the afternoon she got dizzy and then felt very tired]

After I recovered for a minute, I tried again, a little more carefully, and this time the group of voices went away leaving just the conversation and the singing. I fell out of it naturall this time, and then tried again. On this 3rd try I could only hear the singing.

I'm very interested in learning more about the audio aspects of remote viewing. Everything I've read so far only talks about visual perceptions during RV. If anyone can point me to literature that discusses this audio aspect of remote viewing, I'd appreciate it very much.

Also, I've had a fair amount of experience with lucid dreams, including wake induced - which only seem to happen in a in-out of consciousness nap situation like this one. This experience I had was very similar to past experiences with WILDs, except for the addition of the hypnotic "dropping" sensation that I had. Hence, I'm wondering if I just was dreaming this or if it was an actuall remote viewing experience.

When I talked to my friend later, she told me that there was a din of chatter, as everyone was spread across the house in different groups all talking away. Also, her niece was there being very rambunctious, singing and dancing.

So, I thank you for reading. I would appreciate any literature that anyone can direct me to as well as any personal thoughts and opinions on what I've described.
